everything except the octane blue is avail for the MR...

phantom black is still about $250 extra.. Basically a metallic black with gold flakes in it ( I hear)

Oh and Japan, its cool... Your right they could easily see the car in a month and a half before me... But when the evo is on the boats I could see the vin #'s ..... Why don't you ask them for the vin #'s. ..... I'm just curious

You can only get the VIN's once it's off the boat right?

Can't you see the VIN # once they are built?

Looks like by the end of March is pretty slim.

What port does Mitsu use to supply cars to your dealership? I don't see why it's out of the question for West Coast dealers to get their cars sooner.

Waiting is killing me too

Hi,
I ordered my MR last summer (put $500) deposit, I supposedly have the first MR coming to my dealer in CT, so I hope ShahulX is right, my current lease ends in July and I need a car by then.

Can't wait !! (I specified Black with every option available)

What's so hard about announcing it?! They must know what they want to sale it at!
What's the sales tactics behind being tight-lipped?
What kind of incompetence causes this big of a delay?
Those questions are easy:
1. Yes they do know. see #2.
2. Keeps you from buying the other car while waiting for the MR. That way the other dealer can't set their price a couple hundred below the MR making your decision for you before you even sit in the MR. Also, if you don't know the final price you are more likely to wait instead of buying the 335 or STi.
3. It's probably more likely competence than incompetence. If you've ever had to deal with a GM or Ford customer whose brand-new vehicle has a serious problem that now requires a recall, you know why a company trying to build a repeat consumer base is fixing the problems before selling the cars. Waiting for the consumers to find the problems for them is part of what has caused the decline of the American auto industry. Hopefully this is Mitsu taking lessons from the "big" three.

the official stance from mitsu was under $39 including freight.... So $37995 plus $650 freight? Seems likely.... $2k for nav and $2k for the aero kit...

Holy sh*t, $37,999? I sure as hell hope not!

I figured $36,999 was pushing it, to go up another 1k is too much.

no it doesn't ... BBS wheels an the chrome grill treatment... Bluetooth standard, fast key I Believe is standard.... Then all the other stuff you know of like SST , bilsteins, eibach spring, sound deadening etc...

I think that since the gsr base is $32990 and the SSS pkg is 2 k... Which is more or less on the MR ... That makes it $34990... Maybe another grand for the Sst , then the shocks, springs, BBS wheels, extra materials etc.... I think $38k, $42 loaded.... I could be off by a grand ... Give or take.... That's alot I know... Considering the competition .... But you cannot deny what you get alot too
