No one knows for sure, but yes it is annoying. I've been wanting this car for over a year now, ever since the Jan. Detroit Auto Show last year.

I'm hoping South Coast gets the early word on pricing sometime this month.

^ Me too, I'm going to be in the area in late March, so I'll be pissed if they aren't out yet, since I will be coming from Idaho.

I'm not sure what all the concern is about....you already have an idea of what it will be. Is $1,000 or $2,000 difference in price going to make a difference at nearly $40,000?? Come on....

So $38,000 base....with packages at $2,000 each, so a fully loaded should be about $42,000.

There you have it.

You're real question should be....when are they arriving? You can know the price all you want, but if they aren't here, you still can't buy one.

For me personally, $2k does matter, if the pricing comes in at say $38,995 vs. $37k or so, I'll be taking another hard look at used 335i BMW's before pulling the trigger.

I highly doubt it will be $38k. Quote me when they release the pricing, I'll bet anything it's $36,995.

I hope your guesstimate is correct, I paid around $33k for my IX SE so $36,995 for an MR would be awesome.

Well, last I heard they just finished the proper ECU encoding, so maybe were waiting on them to clear customs after being shipped? If Mitsu was smart, they would have had the rest of the car put together, awaiting the final ECU.

Damn, everytime I hear a release date it moves back a month.

In December I was told;
Late Jan/Early Feb.

In January I was told;
Mid Feb/Early March

In Febuary I was told;
April/May

Now in March it's;
Late May/Early June

......I'm getting tired of waiting for this damn car. I getting tired of Mitsu not updating their website. And I'm even more tired of not only having to wait out delays, but not even being told an official price.
  • What's so hard about announcing it?! They must know what they want to sale it at!
  • What's the sales tactics behind being tight-lipped?
  • What kind of incompetence causes this big of a delay?
