Yeah, that seems right. 25mpg is still really nice for Highway driving though.

I think 19mpg is the average including city and highway..

Seemed when I first got my Evo from the dealer the first tank lasted 300miles now I will be lucky to get 240 outta it.

I'm averaging 16-17.5 MPG. My VIII averaged around 20 but it wasn't stock either. We'll see if the Works air filter makes a difference.

I went cross country with cruise and never got 25mpg. I envy some of you. I average 18-19.

that seems a little low. I've been averaging 230-240 miles on a tank. I'm currently getting around 18.1 mpg.

I wonder why there are so many differences between our cars...

Bambi and I are getting the notchy shifts, so at least we have the same tranny characteristics. ...if that's a good thing, heh.

EDIT: Historically, and on most cars, cruise control will offer less mileage than good ol' manual throttle input, but it shouldn't be that much of a difference.

Variance is defiantely driver biased based on throttle input. Strangly enough, I did the $24 Autozone cone filter mod and wholy moly. I went from 18-5 average to 20.5 mpg. That was with a car cruize and flogging it pretty hard driving with american V8 cars. Best bang for the buck mod to date.

Is 91 octane gas required? Can you get away with anything less?

if you bought an Evo and were worried about mileage, you bought the wrong car...
