Gas Mileage

Hi guys, i just bought my evo x last week and am starting to get a little concerned with my mileage...on my first tank i got about 280 KM (~170 miles) on a full tank before the light went on, the second tank i got about 320KM (~190 miles), obviously i havent been driving the car too hard because of the break in period..i also am told that the mileage should get better as the car breaks in? is this true or bs? how many miles/km's have you guys got on your first few tanks so far? and has there been any improvement? also the weather has sucked here so im thinkn that has hurt the mileage...the reason i am concerned about this is because i do a lot of driving

give it some time to break in. the first couple of tanks you'll get horrible mileage.
don't worry .. yet

I beg to differ...I got great gas mileage with the IX (about 21-22 mpg) and I just filled up the X. First tank of gas and I averaged 25.5 mpg.

i had a turboed car before so i know...i was just hoping to get 350-400km on a full tank, i enjoy driving too much to let gas detour me from buying the car i wanted, hopefully after the break in i get at least 350 out of this...my last car was giving me 280-320km on a 45 Litre tank

hahah ill just be happy with 350~KM for every day driving... and if i want to do a longer highway road trip im hoping to get at least 400-450km on the tank (this should be no problem)

it was 90% city...i think i should just wait it out some more tanks before i come to any conclusions or worry other people because i did have to drive through a tremendous amount of snow...im pretty sure that sh** threw off the mileage

Actually, for city driving those numbers are not that bad.
