Greddy Pro Spec II boost controller setting for stock EVO X
Just wondering what you setting are on the Greddy pro spec II for your stock EVO X. I am trying to get it where i am hitting between 22psi - 23psi. I got it where if i gun it then i am hitting about 22.6psi tampering down to about 19psi. But if i am driving normal and i decided to gun it in 4th or 5th gear the thing will over boost on me hitting about 24.8psi and that even with my boost cut off set to 24psi and 10%. Here are my setting (which i probley need to redo).
78%
Gain is 5%
Set Gain is 16.0psi
Warning is 24.0
Warning cut off is 10%
Thanks for the help in advance.

That 78% seems a little high. I would try to move that down a few notches, and up your Gain to maybe 8%.
Your other settings are fine. You could probably drop the set gain a few psi, but that's not going to affect your high psi # anyway.

Thanks i am going to play around with it.
I would set the unit up as follows
Set boost (whatever is takes to get you 22 to 23 psi at 4500 to 5000 RPM.
Gain : (5% to 10%)
Set Gain is (4 psi below targer boost pressure, 18 to 19 psi in this case)
Warning is 23.5 psi
Warning cut off is 5%
With the boost controllers it will always run 1 to 1.5 psi higher in 4th and 1.5 to 2 psi higher in 5th gear. The warning limiter is where the EBC has the advantage over the MBC. You can dial in the boost warning to pull back duty cycle in the higher gears. Give those settings a try and see how it works out.

Dont mean to get you off topic but does the profec monitor boost also? The only reason I ask is I was contemplating doing the profec so I didnt have too run a gauge and a controller. I hear the AEM true boost is a POS so I didnt want that.
Yes the profec b spec 2 has digital boost reading. That is what I have in my car and I don't have a boost gauge. I'm running 70%, set gain 15, gain 15, warning 24 with -5%. I get 23psi falling to about 19 at 7500.

See your in florida though right. I Think that might be a factor also cuz i am 4500ft above see level. So me running 76% i am hitting 21.5 - 22.5. I can actually run it at 80% and see 22 - 23 psi but like i said if i am normal driving in like 4th or 5 gear then it will hit like 25psi and i dont really like that. Its a $36,000 dollar car and i am not trying to break it you no lol
