Wow, deep breath man and use sentences! That was a difficult paragraph to read.

Sorry to hear though, always sucks when a car, especially a brand new one, gets damaged

fury and anger get you no where when you want to resolve something... If he doesnt admit to doing it and theres no real proof the cops cant do anything even if its sooooo obvious that it was him. Unfortunetly thats how it works...

Youre best bet is being polite and talking to him, if he's a decent person he'll do the right thing. Its like $100 to take out a dent typically.

Best of luck!

1. Buy a small voice recorder that can fit in your pocket.

2. Wear a shirt that can hold the voice recorder in the front pocket unseen and turn it on.

3. Confront the neighbor and ask him if he damaged your door. Stay very calm. Don't let him get you upset. At this point, you have to expect he will take the path of least resistance, which will be to lie.

4. Get the other neighbor's testimony on your new voice recorder stating that he saw the neighbor damage the car.

5. Go get the car repaired, and get a receipt. Do this in a timely fashion so that the neighbor cannot claim the damage came from another accident.

6. File a claim in small claim's court against the neighbor who did the damage, and use the voice recorded statements from the neighbor who did the damage and the neighbor who saw the damage occur as evidence.

Situations like this are never easy to fix, but I think this is your best shot at getting it resolved. Best of luck.

That sucks man, sorry to hear it.

Just be calm when you confront the guy and try let him know you want to work it out between the two of you and keep things on the down low that way they're are no unnecessary consequences. Keep in mind whatever happens, unless one of you flat out moves you still have to live next to this guy (and depending on the guy, he might not be "accidentally" clumsy next time he's wasted).

After a while if he doesn't seem to want to cooperate, let him know that you have witnesses and you'll take it further if necessary. Just let him know that all of that is his choice and hopefully he will take the path of least resistance, i.e. not getting the coppers involved.

Also, if you haven't already, take some pictures as evidence (with time stamps if possible). And then post them on here so we can all be pissed off with you.

I hope you get the problem resolved peacefully. If it was me I would jack his truck up! But it isn't so good luck in whatever route you take.

if he is your neighbor, as him why he hit your car? if he denies it, show where the part if his obviously touched your door. if he doesn't believe you, have a witness or call the police to make a report. you don't have to go through insurance but at least that would scare you neighbor and admit to paying for the PDR(paintless dent removal).

Yeah, I couldn't really understand what you were saying earlier because you don't use any periods in your sentences, but I gather what you are saying is that your neighbor dinged your quarer panel with his door. That sucks, and I would definitely talk to him. The old expression, "you catch more bees with honey..." is very fitting in these situations, and I think that if you approach him politelythat you'll probably find him to be appologetic. If not, well than just have your insurance cover it, because it's probably easier than calling the police and trying to get this ******* to fess up to what he did. I feel your pain man, that sucks.

You should have taken pictures right away for insurance purposes! (and then posted them online too)

You should have taken pictures of his door resting on your FQP. That would have been strong evidence that your neighbor, in fact, damaged your car.
