Buy turtle wax polishing compound in the green tin, it'll take those out if you spend enough time on it! Touch free wash wouldn't have done that, at least I wouldn't hope so!

Coming from a detailing background..

There are alot of ways to completely avoid swirls. My personal car is an 07 Honda Accord Coupe with 32k on it. I drive it alot, I'm **** about how it looks, and I wash it all the time.

I run through the car through the touchless all the time. It doesn't get the car perfectly clean, but it's a silver car so it never looks too bad.

If the car is really dirty, I usually go to a coin-op and try to rinse the car as best I can (much higher pressure than my home hose), and then go home and hand wash it.

To date, I've never buffed the car. It has ZERO swirls on it. I did wetsand it this past weekend from 3 scratches over the winter, so those 3 spots did need buffed out. I usually just claybar and wax it several times a year. When you buff 2-3 cars a week on average, finding the motivation to do your own car is pretty much non-existant. I'm very **** with how I wash my car, using two buckets, two wash mitts, and several microfiber towels for drying.

If you don't know what you're doing while handwashing, you can really mess a finish up quickly.

To answer the OP's question..

No the touchless didn't do that. It was probably done by the dealer.
