I still have my TSX and planning to go Evo. I think the one thing I'll miss is the interior by FAR. =( The Civic Si was too cramped for me.

I miss my Navi in my 06 Si. Mitsu is WAY behind Honda when it comes to Navi technology.

but the Nav in the Mitsu can control other things like fast key functions and things, play DVDs etc.... Honda is behind in sound also...

I sell both, and it is a very natural progression... (si to evo)

I went RSX type S (basically the new si) to a EVO 8, then a TSX (family) and now to a GTR (whenever it gets here!!!!)

The Si's (and EX's, for that matter) stereo is pretty close to the Rockford in the SSS package, and certainly better than the base Evo's stereo. Having the sub reflect off the back window makes the bass blend a bit better I think... it always sounds so distant in the X. It's not as powerful, but sounded cleaner. That's one of the reasons I went with the X over the STI. I don't want to screw with stereo components, and I was spoiled by the Si's OEM system. The STI couldn't compare. Stupid, I know, but it was a consideration.

The Navi system in the Honda is quite a bit better for navigation functions, but you're right, that's pretty much all it does. It doesn't have any of the neat features of the MMCS.

You'll have to post up pics of the GTR when it arrives.

You have to remeber that honda has an upscale brand, acura. They gave all the options to acura and left the base honda's just navi's. I don't know if the civic's had voice rec, but acura does. I can tell my car to dial phone #'s turn on ac, set temp, ask for distance and current location. Basically you can say over 400 voice commands and the car can do it. I used the woman voice because that is my other b@tch, she does what i want

I have the SI and the X. I love driving Both car. Switching between two cars, I miss the other. I am new to the Turbo setup and not a big fan of turbo lag. I love the N/A on the Civic but not a fan of the Rev hang. I think both cars are on top of their class. No hate on either cars...I love them both!
