When do the 09 X's arrive?

I'm looking at buying an X GSR but no hurry. Was shocked to see that the one I drove was an 08. When are the 09's coming? Obviously dealer gave me the song and dance about it being a while but wanted second opinion. TIA

I advise stick with the the older version its much better Get a new 2006 MR they still coast like 30,000 almost as much as the new one. new one is to big, looks like a normal lancer, and accelerates slower than the old one. the 06 just looks better too.

09's will most likely not be here in the states until about Nov 2008 and have mfg dates from 9/08-10/08 on them.

If you want a deal on a X GSR at that time. Then find a dealer with an 08 X GSR left on the lot and you can get it below invoice without even trying. It may not be the color and options you want, but it will be cheaper than a brand new 09.

If you feel so strongly about the EVo 8's and 9's why do you hang out in the X forums......do you go and hang out in the regular lancer forums to tell those guys that they need to sell there lancers and get EVO's because in YOUR opinion the EVO 9 is he end all be all of EVO's

Yeah go spend 33k plus on a car with a color you don't like and options you don't want. And if you have anymore money to throw away let me know.

No but really just wait and get an 09 at or below invoice from South Coast Mitsubishi thats what I'm planning on doing. That way you wont have to worry about new car bugs like the reflash some people are waiting on.

It would be a good idea to wait for the 09s to come out, hopefully the bug's will be fixed and maybe Mitsubishi might add on or change some things. Or it might just be a direct carry over... either way, it doesn't hurt to wait... I'm debating that myself right now, cuz I really want an '08 cuz I want an EVO X NOW... but then again, I could just drive my MR2 for 6 months and save up some money and see how everything goes...

They are sitting on the lots and nobody is buying them.

Wouldn't worry about a larger engine...I suspect the Evo will remain 2 liters indefinitely. Might see some extra power, but nothing big.
