I finally got a copy of the rebate form, and it works a little differently than I thought... it might be helpful to someone since it also says you have only 2 days after the sale to file the paperwork. Unless you're using your diploma as proof, you should request the proper paperwork from your school prior to buying or you won't make the deadline.

There are 4 ways to qualify:
1) 4 year college seniors who graduate within 12 months.
Requires: Copy of application for graduation or a letter from your registrar stating intent to graduate

2) Graduates of accredited college, university, service academy, nursing program, or trade school. Interestingly, there is no time limit. According to the paperwork, any college grad would meet the requirements, even if you graduated 20 years ago.
Requires: Copy of diploma

3) Nurses who have completed the necessary course work to become licensed practical nurses within the past 2 years.
Requires: Copy of diploma

4) All currently-enrolled students in a Masters or Doctoral program, regardless of graduation date.
Requires: Letter from your registrar verifying enrollment status

The most interesting is option 2. No time limit seems like a big loophole. They'll probably deny the claim if it's been too long, but the paperwork sets no specific date.

No, it's off whatever price you paid. No minimum.

The paperwork says it must be filed within 2 days of purchase. So yes, you can do it a few days after the fact, but not many. That goes for at least the military rebate as well.

I don't know about the Loyalty rebate because it must be a different form.
