Im getting ready to switch over to some Ferodo DS2500 pads later this week but before I switched over, I wanted to get some advice from you guys. First off, Im only sitting at 19,xxx miles so Im surprised this has popped up already, although the two track days last year definitely contributed to the pad wear. But Im getting a grinding sound when Im under 10mph and off-brake, it seems to happen more when I turn the wheel though. It seems that something is contacting the face of the rotor around the lip at the very edge(attached picture). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what could be causing this? I just wanted to make sure I address any underlying issue when I switch out the pads if there is indeed an issue.

Could be the dust shield on the back of the rotor. Take the wheel off and see if it is bent in any. If so bend it out. Mine was rubbing rotor and making a noise like you describe.
