I think there is a hole in my gas tank because man...I can't seem to get more than 200 or so miles out of a full tank .

But seriously...this being the first year of the new chassis and motor...there are going to be little squeaks and rattles here and there. My main gripe at this point is how flimsy the glove box is. I don't keep anything in it...so in order to open it I literally have to pull it open because the door is so light (which isn't necessarily a bad thing ).

yeah i really like the whole use of space. the whole back end gives the effect that the bottom of it is close to the ground like the front end. looks really good. looked better in my driveway than side by side at the dealership.

Go to thedrug store and buy a little strip of velcro.. If you push the glove box in to stop the rattle, then the velcro should hold it a little tighter and stop the noize (no pun) haha.. It's a 4 dollar fix that just might work..

No rattles, but my gas pedal broke in half and my shifter broke off last week at an auto x on a pretty normal shift. Apparently that nifty little $400 shifter they sell you couldn't be solid metal...they had to put a plastic insert in the middle which is pretty fragile. No worries...I took a metal one from my Honda and I'm back in business.

Other than that I love this car.

just drove home.

how about a fluttery type vibrating sound inside the car when in 5th and reving just north of 3000rpms. i am sure it is not the engine because when i let off the throttle and engine winds down and get a deeper tone which makes the flutter sound change. probably just more plastic right? doesn't happen in 3rd above 3000rpms though.

how does your's sound at idle when standing by the hood? ticking type of idle?

i obsess over my new toys all the time. then ***** when they turn into used cars.

what about putting some felt pads that might keep the plastic from hitting anything

Fix for the glove box: Scotch brand self-stick rubber pads for 3M at Walmart. I got the clear ones. Put 1 at top corners of glove box. Shuts a little tighter, no more squeak!

No shi t, I thought I was going crazy, I guess I am not the only one. It reminds me of telling some kid to stop making that noise... and then what does he do? Repeats it over and over really fast until you start beating him. I just leave my glove box open when I drive, but I don't want that to be the fix.

I find it hard to park the Evo and to make u-turns. For its size this car has a huge turning radius.

First AWD car? It isn't the Evo its AWD turning radius, my Evo 8 was like that too, actually worse turning radius. So i guess it might be Evo's in general if you look at my experience, but most AWD cars are like this from me checking it out.

My 8 was far worse than my 10 as far as turning radius...though my big Lexus SUV can turn inside either Evo...go figure.
