Although the new Mitsubishi Lancer Evo X no international homologation record, won Fumio Nutahara with the car rally.
FIRST SUCCESS: Nutahara carried out a series of fast-Evo X in Japan
The international homologation of the automobile federation FIA world is still several months in coming, but wanted the multiple Japanese champion and PWRC starter a first impression of his coming deployment device in the context of a championship run in his hometown.
And the trial use at the rally Kuma Kogen proved to be very successful and although the Nutahara actually a series vehicle to the launch went with a built-in addition Überollkäfig and other security components.
This, he sat on the asphalt event against competition from local and drew a first positive about his new Mitsubishi model. It praised the Japanese in comparison to its predecessor model, improved suspension and looks forward to the premiere of the car in the Rally World Championship.

nice! again all the X haters are eating crow, because the rally heritage continues. it's so funny how the x was said to have lost its racing roots, and was being compared to the huge mistake in the 2000+ eclipse...and now it's proving itself in virtually EVERY area it was criticized for. go X go!

hahaha, the x is a nice piece of machinery. originally i just wanted a 9, but after shopping around and seeing the kind of condition they were in, and the prices that places were asking for them, it was just smarter for me to get a x. funny thing is that i didn't like the way that it looked in pictures, but when i saw it in person i fell in love.

Price will almost always go up no matter what, because of new technology, and any other improvements like safety. Safety improvements is what mainly caused the increased weight. Advancements is safety are a requirement for all manufacturers. There is no way to get around it. Weight increase is inevitable, so there is not point in complaining.
It's kind of stupid and ignorant that you said that build quality is worse. If you have read as many reviews as I have, build quality has actually improved.
Overall the Evo X is better than it's predecessors.
I'm not a X hater but some of what the haters are saying is simply true....ie gearing, and power/weight ratio. I understand all the safety regulation crap and all b.s. The bottom line is most of them "DO" look at basic things like straight line performance because that's how most cars are marketed. I don't like the idea of the X being all around slower than the IX but then again I'm not in the market for one. I think it's a great car but it'll never be the ALL OUT TRACK BEAST that the VIII/IX's are....whether it's DRAG or ROAD COURSE.....so all of the FANBOYS/HATERS ALIKE can keep argueing because deep down we all know which is the better performer.
