Wow, I read through page 13, I am suprised at some of the replys, vipers, and corvettes for the evo. I sold my 97 mustang GT with an eaton blower, 4.10 gears, and a bilstien/ford racing suspension. I had to get the X to enjoy my new home at the time (Wisconsin). The X's handling is better than anything that I've ever driven, and this is in the stock form. I do miss the eaton whine of the roots blower and the sound of the v-8 exhaust. The evo is only incomplete in the lack of good engine sounds, can most likely be somewhat recovered with a decent exhaust. I still am a big fan of american sports cars (vettes, ford gts, ex). I will prob pick up a c6 after the X is paid off.

Traded a 07 Honda S2000 for a 2010 Evo X GSR. Love the X so much more for power, roominess, AWD, and ease of modifications. Do miss the S2000's sexiness, convertible (on nice days), and better gas mileage.

If I had to do it again, I'd still get the X.

Traded in a 06 IX GSR for a 2011 X GSR... I miss the IX sometimes, although not as raw, the X is still enjoyable.

Fix that lack of engine sounds, you'll find out you have magically added 10 or 20% HP. It's THE detuning point of design the engineers put on these things, besides pig-rich tune. Well, pig-rich isn't quite as rich when you kill some of the back-pressure. She runs leaner then. Just get tuned or be ready for an occassional "MAP sensor reads too high" sort of OBDII code. Insane amount of potential boost on this once you free up the exhaust side of things. 'Still running the stock intake box, but I sure can hear the BOV a lot more clearly without the suffocating exhaust.

Traded in a 2007 Civic Si for a 2008 PB GSR. The Civic was fun, light weight and 8,000 RPM redline, but it does not compare to an Evo.

2004 S2000 for a 2008 GSR. Miss the 6th gear and the wail when the VTEC kicked in, but would never go back . . .

I traded in my 2007 C6 Corvette. Loved that car......... I am getting married, needed more storage space, and all weather car. I Just got the EVO MR less than a week ago, and it is a great replacement. Awesome car! I will be fine.
