Within a 6 month period I went from an Evo IX MR to a G35 Coupe and finally to my Evo X.

Edmunds loves the Evo. The tl;dr: the evo destroys everything but the gt-r and R8 4.2 on a twisty road, the only thing holding it back is power, which is easy enough to fix. Though I think it has more than enough power for the real world.

I traded in my g35 for my evo x last summer. I enjoy my evo and its a blast to drive, even in its current un-tunned state. but i feel like i didn't get what i paid for with my evo.. 35k for a car that just doesn't seem well built at all and came with an POS transmission.
Honestly wish i got the new 5.0 mustang..sad i know

I will give you that the new 5.0 is very impressive...finally Ford delivered with a sports car not a high school cheerleader car anymore.

GSR or MR? The MR transmission is by no means a POS. Not even close hehOriginally Posted by FL4TLINE

I agree that build quality seems sub par though, but we're paying mostly for the driving technology in this machine.

Yeah. Give it a few more years for the X to become a little more mainstream in pricing...people will be building them a lot more and their potential will really shine. I feel like they get a bit of a bad rap sometimes. New cars just aren't cheap.Originally Posted by menasor
