I bought the Evo on a whim (sort of). Just went to look and ended up buying one in early 09 since they were trying to give the remaining 08's away.

I promised my wife I would sell the BMW 97 e36 m3 sedan, but it's taken so long (heh heh) that she's not asking about it anymore.

Evo's now a DD and occasional track car, while I turn the m3 into more of a dedicate track car.

 

YEP me too... the cobalt SS. My SS was stock though... so the X is faster. Gotta say I miss that transmission though. And the whole no-lag thing kicked azz.

But i mean the X blows it away for sure with it's AWD and superior handling.

The SS was also a rough ride. It's handling consisted of really stiff bushings and really low profile tires.

 

I traded a bunch of cash for my X...hah. Gotta GREAT deal on it though

 

I traded an 08 Lancer ES to my X MR. Can't even tell they are both technically lancers. Such a wonderful improvement.

Traded in my baby'd 2003 VIII (74k miles) for the X. If I had a 9 I would have never gone for a X. Congrats to the person who purchased my old 8 from SCMitsu

04 Outlander for an 08 MR. Tranny blew on the way home so gave it back and got a 2010 GSR for the price of the used 08 MR. Couldnt be happier

 

2005 330ci for the 2011 X , best day of my life lol

 

Sold the '02 rsx and put that money towards the Evo. The rsx may have been slow, but in the ~9yrs we had it...zero mechanical issues, standard pm aside.

 

08 sti > 06 s2000 > evo... couldnt be happier...
