You are also paying $600,000 for a house that would cost $125,000 here. If I had my same job out there, my pay would double.

26mpg? Shyeah right. I got 19mpg pre flash and exhaust, and now have to squeeze to get 23.

Because its a toy and not my daily driver.
Because I obviously like Evos since this is my third one.

My wife works literally two doors down, her car gets 26mpg on gas that costs 30 cents less a gallon.

Give me my moment. Premium has jumped almost 30 cents a gallon here in the last month and I'm just reacting to that.

4mpg. But that tune now has the specs from the Mitsubishi reflash. I also have added a full exhaust, which is definitely helping as well.

Noize makes total sense of cost issues. People that say junk about I don't care about gas cost, why did you buy an EVO, blah, blah need to have a reality check of our economy, our economy against the world, and the dependence our entire economy has with the price of gas.

If you live in a home that averages 650,000, pay 2000 month mortgage, pay 8-9k in property tax yearly, pay 500 a month health insurance, 400 a month private schools, 300 a week groceries, 300 month minimum essentials, lemon cost a dollar, rice shortage in the world, ethanol sucking up the food market, on and on, you better check your savings and your assets because we are going in the hole. Why, gas will be $7.00 a gallon next year. To fill up 4 times a month will be 420+100 insurance+car payment. heck, I am even looking at scooters or even riding a bike

Oh I don't care about cost of gas! Maybe these guys all live at home with mommy and daddy. Well, they are going to suffer also which means you won't get any gas money.

Not making fun of anyone here, just looking at the future. I am selling my porsche to get a EVOX for my wife very very soon and also a new STI for myself, was going to get 2 EVO's but no more.

A supercharged Honda fit will also look good in my garage also and I don't care because everyones house around me are in forclosure. I can see 5 real estate sign bank owned homes from my front window. I want the most mileage because every penny counts and my neighbors that drove SUVs and such, well, I guess I can say they will have 7 years of hardship due to filing bankruptcy.

I guess filling up $125 a tank for a hummer makes you loose your house because of its depreciating market value. At least they ae still styling theat hummer! All SUVS should be taxed 100% so that us who choose a sedan should not pay for those that suck up our reserves. Wait, doesn't our state give you a full tax deduction on heavy SUV's, thanks Arnold.

Just mumbling friends...

Noize, seriously, 23 MPG max. It does matter to me.

Maybe I can prototype a hybrid EVO, hehheh. Better yet, a full electric conversion

In Alberta (which is one of the largest oil producing locations currently) we are paying $1.35/L of 91 octane, which works out to 5.11 per gallon.

Yeah man, I save about 15-20 cents per gallon. That's about three bucks savings per fill up.

I'm looking at getting a used civic gx, runs on natural gas and gets about 30 mpg. Costs around 2 bucks a gallon at a station or about one dollar if you fill up at home.
