Not selling very many Evo X cars where I work. At least not like the IX or VIII sold. We also sell Subies too and WRX and STI sales are in the tank. I hope this will change soon because its hurting my wallet big time. Evos and WRXs were once considered our bread and butter. Not anymore. Base Imprezas and Lancers sell nicely though.

My local mitsu dealer has the 3 they have had for 2 months now. I don't think they are marked up, but they aren't letting them go for under msrp, not yet at least.

I'm lucky enough to not have to really worry about gas prices as my commute is short. Still can't afford a x though, so my search for the perfect used evo continues....

My local dealer had 7 when I went the first time. Now weeks later I think they still have 6. None are moving and they are selling at dealer invoice or close to it. I'm trying to finagle a deal on a white one they have incoming.

Not a problem north of the border dealers are always out of stock, they come in they go out there is a waiting list for the Evo X . I was at the dealership yesterday and they have one in the showroom and orders for a couple that they are trying to get from other dealers.

I was just in toronto last week and did not see one on the road. But I can say is your economy even though it's tangled with the US, seems to not be affected right now by the slowing economy here. One think I did notice is that you gas is about a 1.25 a liter. When you convert thats over $5 Some dealers here in South Fl have over 30 evo's and are just collecting dust.

I wish I paid138.8 for Sunoco 94 yesterday for the S2000 91 octane was 136.8 multiply that by 3.78 and it is $5.22 a US gallon But you are right our economy seems to be in much better shape than the US (so Far!!) Too bad car prices do not line up an EVO MR is 47,498 vs 38+ in the US a 2008 S2000 is over 50 here and in the high 30's there. Our dollar is on par but not againest the Yen. The dealer says prices are going to drop but he got a blank look when I asked if that meant my MR would be cheaper

I'm sure fuel costs and the economy aren't helping but, the ever rising sticker prices of these cars isn't doing them any favors either.

I mean like I said in another thread the sticker on the MR with nav and tech package is more than what I ended up paying for my 335 with sport, prem and nav and I don't see getting anywhere near the amount off sticker on Evo as I did the 335.

I agree, the EVO X was supposed to be $30,000 base price and ended up being quite a bit nigher. The MR is getting VERY high and nudging against some very nice competitors price wise. Odd that BMW pricing is more stable considering the Euro is a hell of a lot stronger than the Yen

Or the dollar for that matter, but aren't you SO glad that our last 2 elections we've voted based on "moral" and "religious" views over economical reasons? Lol, ok ok, I'm going to stop now.

You have no idea what you are talking. I got X for <30K, you have to know what you want and for how much not just base your thinking strictly looking at the sticker prices
