It seems like such a stupid thing to take away, though. It probably cost Mitsubishi more to remove it than it would have cost them to just leave it in for us.

It's not NOT THERE .. just disabled based on VIN and location and type .. you just need the software to enable it ..

Maybe we're just splitting hairs, but if it's "there" but there's no way for me to enable or use it, that's pretty much the same thing as it not being there.

.. you know what .. you can perhaps go to the dealer and ask them to enable these features ??

It is also mentioned that these features are enabled thru MUTIII CAN controller ..

Hey, don't give up yet !!

had a US model X here at my dealer and i looked for this feature and could not locate it in any of the Can C system ...but did find a power window[AS] controller but could not change it thru the medic system with mut III ....if somebody knows how post it up and ill try it.....

It needs the MUTIII connected to a laptop ..uses CAN B or LIN ..

went thru etac and all the systems but couldnt find it, even went into coding and couldnt locate any such feature ....i have a mutIII and the vci and all the interface cables...

Its the one where you touch the signal stalk and the turn signal will flash for 3s .. good to use when you want to do a lane change etcetc .. and the steering is not turned enough to trip the signal if it's engaged
