I could be wrong, but isn't it the same wheel just with paddles? There's outlines in our steering columns for where the paddles would go.

It also has the audio and bluetooth controls. The audio controls are simple to add to the GSR wheel, but there's no easy way to add the bluetooth stuff without cutting and gluing. I imagine that's what he's after.

I dont think the paddles are connected to the wheel but rather the steering column, also it had the cutout for the BT kit (why i need that wheel)

From my understanding, there is no need to cut and glue anything to install blue tooth on the steering wheel. I thought you just had to remove the awc controls and replace it with the bluetooth.

nope, the AWC is replaced by the audio controls, the BT controls are a separate module looking thing on the lower left hand area of the steering wheel.

The BT control fits right into the stock wheel. there is a how-to on it and everything.

It doesn't fit into the stock wheel at all. That's why a whole section in the how-to is about cutting up the stock wheel and gluing in the buttons.

MR Wheel

The part number is available I can look it up, I will tell you it is around $600 and you get the wheel and the back cover, all switches and harnesses are extra. I wanted to buy just the back cover and you can't it is only available as an assembly. I just cut mine as per the how to, I think $600 is a bit much just to get a rear cover. The wheel itself is the same for either car, it is a matter of which switches are installed.

jwa, a forumer here had mentioned about the australian evo's having the bluetooth switch on the dash. you might want to research more on this, think this would be a better option than hacking or buying an MR steering wheel.

Hmm, I guess I didn't really pay too much attention to the how-to. My mistake.
