I don't know about the Vette and Viper crowd since I've never owned either, but the motorcycle crowd is definitely good about waving.

 

Yea I don't wave to Evo/STis or any of that jazz. Granted there about 10 or so 8/9's in the area and only 2 X's, one being me. I'm yet to even see the other one, but my friends see it all the time. I come from the musclecar crowd and they get the waves/thumbs-up...when I'm in my musclecar. If I did it in my Evo I'd get the "Ha, look at that tool in his foreign car" look that I always give imports in my SS. An Evo or STi might get a fist pump, situational.

 

another apex silver evo honked at me the other day. i was shocked, first X i've seen on the street besides mine and it's the same color

Had an 05 STi stop me the other day to talk cars...other than that I get 'what is that' looks.

I FINALLY saw another X in the wild this weekend. But, as luck would have it...I was on the bike.

 

Don't worry, as soon as the release the new camero, there will be "variety" again.

I do the 'rally car wave'.... Evos and Sti's get a wave... probably get waved back 85% of the time.

 

Are you in Winchester? I saw one on Amherst st. about 3 weeks ago. Looks great in person by the way.

 

evo owners in the uk do it all the time, its a mutual respect thing

 

i can't wait for the evo crowd...i hardly ever waved with my integra, most of the time its riced out and some punk 18 year old kid revving his motor at me.
