Blown off?!
With the pipe being bolted down to the frame, how exactly are they blowing off?
When I first installed my UICP, I didn't tighten it and had an audible boost leak but couldn't get the damn thing to blow off.

The bolts on the frame where on still tight...the pipe literally moved the rubber hose right off to the side.
yea those are nice. I will take full blame for my noobness! When I put the cupler down on the IC I went too far down so it was taking up 75% of the cupler and the IC pipe was only getting 25%. I fixed it to where they both had 50% of the cupler. I will also say that the god damn pipe will never come off now. I thightend that thing real good now!
How could the coupler that connects the charge pipe to the intercooler blow off? That pipe is bolted to the frame of the car and cant move. The engine moves back toward the firewall when it is under load which would pull on the long black hose between the pipe that goes to the intercooler and the small aluminum piece that necks down to go to the turbo. There should't be any tension on the piece that you say blew off. I'm confused.

If you don't have the clamps on precise and torqued down propper this will happen. Happened to my VIII numerous times so I would just carry around extra clamps and set of screw drivers just in case. Engine should be fine I would say.
