We have owned Mitsu's for years (2- 1g gsx's, 1-1g gst, 2-2gst's, and 2-2g gsx's) so we had been looking at the Evo for awhile. When we saw the concept car for the X in Car and Driver, I had to have it. We were going to wait a yr or 2 to let the bugs get worked out, but when gas hit almost $4 a gallon here. It was killing me filling a suburban up with gas every week. So we went to the dealer and bought my X. I would change a thing.

Looking at the X and the VIII sitting together, I presonally like the apperance of the X more. To me it looks more aggressive.

Came from the Honda Camp, actually I still race a 650whp Civic.

I was on business in Arizona and kept seeing a car that caught my eye everytime I walked past it in the parking lot. I eventually stopped to check it out and saw it was the new Lancer Evolution.

The second day I was back home in Texas, I went to test drive one and was sold. Drove to San Antonio that weekend to trade my SUV in on a Octane Blue Evo X.
