Loyal EVO owners Vs New Buyers
Loyal EVO owners Vs New Buyers
how many of you came from an EVO 8or 9 to X and how many came becuase they liked the X and they never owned an EVO before.
Then there are people who took a test drive which was not planned and that sold them. Just trying to get a feel that which category do most EVO X owners fall into.

I drove a IX and thought it sucked, because my rx7 destroys evo's, then i got bored one day and just drove the new X, and something just clicked and its felt like how a car is supposed to be... Now i am selling my rx7 and GTI to get an evo X, i know its not as fast but it just felt real good, haha...

I am sure you can make the X faster

Hey guys, I am a proud owner of an 2006 Evo IX SE, lightly modded (311whp/320lblf) for now. So, what attributes in the Evo X made you trade-in your Evo VIII/IX? Was it the interior, the smoothness of the engine? Just curious.
I personally like the rough and rugged feeling of the old chassis and would have been perfectly happy with a stripped out, no radio, riding on wagon wheels rattlebox EVO. After the test drive I could feel that the new car was more composed and more powerful....not faster, but more power on demand for sure.
Now that my old car is gone, I miss it, but I would never trade this car back for it. It is better in every way.
