$7k extra what to do...

350awhp+....

what do i need to achieve this little goal...?

im thinking:

custom 3" TBE
intake
FMIC
manual boost controller
clutch
BOV
gauges +turbo timer of course
custom tune (do i need a form of engine management?)

would that be close?

thanks for any input...

Look at my Mod list, I layed down almost 320whp.
Im adding a few more things, and Im hoping to hit 400whp.
Definitely bumping up to a bigger turbo

Your talking like its your car. haha Thats a good list to start but imo don't bother with the bov the stock one is good enough, and you'll hear it with the intake. More things are upper and lower intercooler piping too. You've got a pretty awesome gf keep this one close.

lol well she said we could share and that she wants it to be really fast so im trying to help. she doesn't even know how to drive a manual car yet but she's trying.

is 400whp asking too much for the stock turbo?

i heard that a single exit exhaust is more efficient and would make more power...is this true?

Unless your wife is into driving really fast cars I don't think its a good idea putting her behind the wheel of a 400whp car.

I am not saying this because she is a women, well yes I am but because women don't usually care about it and I don't think she knows what you are getting her into.

why do all those things when the car is brand new?
just get some suspension mods and some exterior add ins etc and enjoy the car for what it is for now.

you DONT need a bov and you DONT need a new clutch or a fm yet

I dont think you can hit 400awhp with that list unless you run e85 or some kinda race gas consistently. You would need to throw a larger turbo (30r?) on it to hit those kinda numbers on pump. This is of course you want to keep it reliable and all that because I know there are guys out there putting up HUGE numbers on the stock turbo...

If she is unable to drive a manual car, wait on adding parts to make it faster. Give it a year or two and go to some events to learn how to really drive the car first.

You can always mod later down the road.

$7K is a lot of money. IMO you should put in in a CD or something other than a car. There is one guarantee with cars: Depreciation. Why sink so much money into a car that either of you is used to driving. Just enjoy the car for what it is. 400awhp...even 320awhp can get you in trouble really fast.

In my opinion, I would not let her learn how to drive a manual on an Evo. I learned when I was 15 on an old beater that didn't matter if it ever worked again. Don't stick her behind a powerful car and telll her to go
And about the mods.. I had mine for almost a year before I did any mods to do. Trust me, a stock evo is just as fun :P

And a tC?! What in the world! .. I traded in an 06 tC for my 03 evo, best choice I ever made! Do you have any problems with it? I had one before my 06 that was a lemon.
