I was just curious....what do you guys call the Evo X? What I say what do you call it....I mean when you see "Evo X" do you think "Evo 10" or "Evo X - as in the letter x". I have never really called it Evo 10, ever since it was called Concept-X and not concept-10...I've called it X as in the letter. So I was wondering if anyone else does that or if it's just me, lol.

^ LOL I think that is why I say it....Evo X sounds cooler where Evo 10 is cool as u can say u got the latest one, IDK. I guess I'm weird. Evo X "exe" for the win! Haha

 

I call it the "ten." We all called the other ones 7, 8, 9, etc so 10 just seems normal to me. Especially when talking about multiple generations of the Evo in one conversation..."I like the rawness of the nine better but the ten has some real potential."

EDIT: now that I thought about it, whenever I read something on the forums or websites, my mind reads it as the Evo "ex." I still don't call it that though.

 

at first i called it evo "ex" because of the non-iteration of the 4g63 but i'm now coming to terms with it, so evo 10

I call it the "ten" in spoken language, but read it as "ex" for the most part. I don't like it because I also own a Nissan Xterra, which is also referred to as an "X" in nissan-speak.

At the last meet with lots of VIII and IX owners everyone asked me how I liked my "X". (As in the letter.) I never call it that, I call it my ten.

 

People that don't know what the car is call it the ex. This includes TV reviews by uneducated, incompetant reviewers.

i bought my phantom black pearl Evo X last week, i already got used to calling it PBX, but most of the time, if front of my friends, I call it evo 10 =D
