I wonder why kind of a review they will give the Evo.

 

Motorweek Is The Most Bland, Boring, Politically Correct Auto Show On The Planet. They Keep Criticisms To A Minimum To Keep Their Supply Of Tests Vehicles Rolling In To Continue Their Thinly-veiled Infomercial. There Are No Car Enthusiasts, Just A Boring Host, A Bunch Of Spokesmodels That Probably Can't Even Drive Stick, And A Guy Who Gives Basic (and Often Inaccurate) Car Care Tips While Pushing Lots Of Useless Products. Thank God For Top Gear!

 

if this is the episode where the X was featured in the middle of the show (like a 2 minute review) then ive seen this like 2 months ago...it was not the featured test in the beginning or the end

 

This is absolutely true. To these criticisms, I would add (1) a bias towards domestics, (2) some of the worst background music on TV today, and (3) a host with an annoying voice, especially the loop-dee-do cadence right before they cut to the review.

I'm actually somewhat surprised the show is still being broadcast.

 

Wow, I thought MotorWeek just a local thing to us Maryland guys. I had no idea they broadcast Nationwide... Those backroads they take all their test drives on are all behind my folks' house!

I have to admit John Davis's voice does put me to sleep sometimes, and they don't really offer much information, but its not bad if you're flippin thru the channels and find a GSR road test on TV.

 

HE doesn't have as annoying of a voice as jessica chocksy. her voice is so annoying it makes my eyes water. and her stupid fake smile she puts at the end of each segment like she just accomplished something terrific by reading everything off the teleprompter is enough to make me want to vomit.

 

+1 for top gear!!!

 

Hmm I wonder what kind of times they get out of it? Do they even know how to launch it? If they don't I see a 14 XX in there at like 100 something.

 

This episode wasn't all that...actually which episodes are?

 

Yeah i actually bothered watching it. BORING. i think they ran a 13.8 with the GSR.
