So has anyone confirmed that this is truly the injectors firing off? Can't hear it from inside the car, but if the engine is running and I'm standing outside, man this clickity clack is loud! granted, I only have 90 miles on mine, so maybe it gets better?

seriously. it's a 2 liter straight 4 banger that is capable of a lot of HP. what would you expect it to sound like?

 

they would be surprised when you take off those plastic and sound deadening materials around other car engines.... how those sounds...

They just bought a Mitsubishi Evolution X... And forgot about the Mitsubishi and the Evolution part... My VIII was so loud with all its stupid noises. Rattle rattle creak crack rattle clunk clunk tick tick tock tick. Lifter tick, slightly loose tob, rattly window and door panels, and clunky suspension. YAY! Only bad thing was the transfer case siren, and you knew that was a bad noise because it was louder than all the other noises AND my stereo.

 

Better go and take driving lessons instead of worring about it.

 

my 2g 4g63 is nice and loud, lifter noise.

hell its so loud at certain RPM's it triggers the knock sensor.

 

my wifes is350 is loud. You almost think it's a deisel. But that is just the injectors.

 

It's not so much as worried, but curious as to why my $40k car sounds like it has 300k miles on it.

If it's injectors, cool, end of story.
