Nope....they said don't roll them down for 3 days, I went 5 days, haha. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to my car. No trash or an loose objects ever inside, washed weekly, so these lines in the tint are annoying. Just how easy would it be to install felt? Would all tint shops have this?

I talked to my tint guy about it, and he said this can happen on any car and on any window, and depends on how the door/window was installed at the factory (varying levels of torque applied) and how much dirt you have collected beneath the trim. He's seen it on Hondas, BMWs, Porsches, Cadillacs...it can happen to any window. I haven't had any problems on my new tint yet....we'll see though.

Remove the door panels and trim the weatherstrip all the way back (upper and lower). If done right it looks great and works great. I was very hesitant to tint when I found this as the only option, but I have no regret after seeing the finished results.

But the downside to doing this is there's a chance of losing the air-tight seal. I chose not to do this, as a scratched tint will always be better in my mind than wind noise.
