I'm not sure how Evom's mods feel about non-evo related pics but this is thread related so, I'm going to give it a shot.

I'm a certified CF *****, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. To me (like 5FDP) it's never enough.

This piece is in my posession, but will probably not be installed

Some would say that I'm some kind of freak about it but, this stuff is just a small portion of where I actually want the car to be.

One thing is certain, this is not daily driven and I wouldn't suggest any daily driven car to have CF, the **** fades.....I don't give a rats *** who it's made by, VIS, Seibon, Voltex....who the **** ever....it's gonna fade under DD conditions.

carbon fiber products are awsome! from hoods to dash trims. alot of ppl like to talk crap about "oh look a all the cf, thats rice. what a ricer" pff who cares, its all about what you think looks good. if you get cf doors, hood and a trunk and youre tired pf ppl always talk smack about it and u cant stand it you can always paint it. imo, there no such thing as too much. who cares if cf is only to reduce weight, and you buy it for looks. who cares. thats like someone buying a pair of basketball shoes and not playing basket ball, everyone does it. cf is in!

cf accents are the way to go, paint a majority of the larger pieces to keep it toned down.

If you can see the weave, the CF was laid into the gel coat too soon or with too much pressure.

It really only takes a painter who knows what he's doing. If a CF panel looks textured, it should be wet sanded, shot with high build primer, blocked off, guide coated and blocked off again. This is true of fiberglass body parts as well. In general they're going to need this done in order to resemble the metal panels they're molded from.
