bluetooth issues

any suggestions of how to have the bluetooth transmit through all speakers rather than the driver front speaker on the evolution MR? it has the mitsubishi multi communication system. just can't hear anyone when doing > 60mph on the freeway, with the roadnoise?

I think it's a setting to choose what speaker it comes through. I'm pretty sure I set mine up to come out of the passenger side (since my leg won't be blocking the sound).

Now, what phone do you have? With my old phone (Sanyo Katana) everything was clear and worked well. I then got a Samsung Instinct and the bluetooth volume is VERY low.

I swapped over to a crackberry last night, but I've not used the BT yet to see how well it works.

I didn't read the manual

I need to test it with the new phone, so I'll play with it on the way home and try it out.

Oh wait, you drive on the right side of the car, correct? That would be my passenger side

I think this is standard on most cars now, only the driver speaker will be used for bluetooth calls. You may have a setting for automatic volume under noisy conditions though.

My car definitely uses the right side (so in my LHD car, the passenger side) for bluetooth audio.

My blackberry works like the Katana did (well)... tested it last night.

With the Katana and blackberry, the phone audio is at 24 or so. With the Instinct it was at 39 (so almost the top) and the voice prompts made your ears bleed.

When I saw "bluetooth phone capable" I was thinking I would not need an MP3 player adaptor to play my mp3 stored on my phone. Not the case, it only works for phone calls, not my navigation on the phone, or mp3's on the phone.

<sigh>

dude the integration with the nav sucks too (as I have posted previously). But I won't own a car without bluetooth anyway.
