Periodic Inspection.

I am around 97xx miles on my odometer. Anyways, my little tech screen in the middle guages when I first start the car for about 3 seconds lights up in yellow, with a wrench in the middle and underneath it says "periodic inspection". What does this mean? I change my oil not to long ago and it is really good and clean. I don't know what this means? I never had it before? Anyone know? How do I get rid of it?

In the Navi, go to Info, Maintenance, and hit "Update" on the section where it says Oil, etc...Make sure you do this everytime you change anything or perform any kind of listed maintenance.

Or if that doesn't work try this!

You have to have the key in the off position! If you don't, it won't work. Toggle the info button to the display that shows the wrench. When you get there, press and hold for a few seconds until the wrench blinks. When it does, release it for a moment, then press it again to reset the system to 5100 miles.

If that is not good enough then see

manual in section 3 p. 163

It says to turn the car on but don't start it (ACC = ON) then push the info button until it shows the mile indicator with the wrench below it (on the center info screen) then press and hold the info button for a few seconds. The car will beep and the miles above the wrench will change/flash. This resets its.

Yea I got it already. I was doing that but had no clue the car had to be off. Got to work minutes ago and tried it coincidentally with the car off and it got rid of it.
