Asked to run credit check prior to test drive?
I went in last night with every intention of ordering one and just sitting in one to see how well I fit, but the dealer asked me if I wanted to drive it before I could even ask to sit in one.
I was really surprised.
He was like, "You every drive one before?!" Nope... "Good, let me pull one around for you to take out."

They wouldn't let my friend test drive one when he rolled up in a heavily modified Buschur 8. Then his dad, a neurosurgeon, went up there in his supercharged viper, and they would not let him test drive it either. Hilarious.
To be fair..how many times have you been window shopping at a dealer knowing full well you weren't going to buy anything. These days I never ask for a test drive, but if they offer...
I went to three Mitsu dealerships when I was considering an X. Two of the three made me feel like a criminal or something, just an overall slimy feeling. None of the three really seemed remotely interested in selling the car, I can see why Mitsubishi is having such a tough time in the NA market with this kind of sales approach.
