"Slow Down" Warning Lamp

Drove the car hard in some long canyon driving and got a Slow Down warning symble in the display. Coolant temps were in the middle. Could be oil temps, air intake temps or SST temps that throw the code. When the lamp comes on, the power is cut off. Anyone know the cause? Does this happen as well in the GSR? Thanks.

Never seen this in the GSR, and I have pushed it to its limits, and I know some other Time Trial drivers have as well, and have heard nothing.

Did you have the ASC turned off? Was it an exclamation mark w/in a triangle or a different icon. I sometimes get an icon of a car swerving when I take turn hard while accelerating... don't know if this is what happened w/you.

your sst was overheating... you should pull over, pop the hood and let it run until the display turns off...

right from the service training vid...

the manual says to let the car cool down. open the hood and let it idle. a transmission cooler would be nice for the tc-sst.

Pull off to the side of the road and pop the hood and let it cool down. WOW...that sounds like fun

probably the SSt oil tempeture reaching the limit. So prevent further damage the ECU cuts you off from racing. It happened many MR test.

Are you have after market parts on the car or tune?
