I tried turning on my car today, but it was idling at really low rpm, then I feel the car shaking, so I revved it a bit, then it was idling really low again, after warming up, the problem went away. Is it because its a cold day? The same thing happened when I was on the mountain, it was idling at 500 rpm. Another thing was when I went WOT on the highway, rpm would jump 4k then drop to 3k then 4k then 3k. I thought I broke my transmission! On the way home I decided to go WOT again, this time nothing happened, the RPM needle went straight to redline and the idling issue was gone. What the hell?

 

It's the P1320 issue. It's just the factory tune causing that. There is a reflash out for the GSR for the same issue and I guess the MR has the same issue. There's actually two flashes out, one for that and one for the high rpm hesitation. You've been on these forums for a while now, I'm surprised you wouldn't have figured this out on your own; there's only a million threads about it.

 

I know of these problem, but I just thought MR are supposed to be fixed of those issues, that is why they were delayed in the first place. In which case, I will give the dealer a call...

 

The second one is stated GSR only.

 

dude i got my gsr reflashed on friday and now have a weird ticking sound that is like 3 seconds apart at idle. so it is like clickity clack clickity clack tick tick tick clickity clack. wth?

i thought MRs were taken care of for those bugs. but the idle isssue sounds like the p1320
