If you are refering to the fact that your oil level keeps getting lower, it might be due to the leak and occur more rapidly, thus losing more oil.

However, on any turbo car some oil burn off is normal. However, alot of oil burn off could be caused by a serious problem.

The oil leaks is either coming from oil feed line or coming from the timing cover.

If you do have this leak please take this to the dealer to see if we can get a TBS for this. Also keep an eye on this it took about 6000 mile before mine started to leak. Also keep a good check on your oil level as well. Its a slow leak maybe 4-5 drops a night.

here is a link where others have been getting this leak as well:

Yeah a lot of us were experiencing a distinct smell, everyone was paranoid and thought it was either their clutch/brakes or various other issues, perhaps it's the small amount of oil burning off the engine when it warms up??? My oil level is always fine, however I do receive a smell from time to time, perhaps this is the issue???

damn, i better check my car for this leak. it has only 550 miles on it, but I'd rather catch this before its a huge problem. So whats the story, I just take of the plastic underbody pieces and if there is a leak, I should see oil in various places? I'm not very mechanically experienced, so be descriptive please.

It turns out the dealer didn't put enough oil in before I bought it. (That's what they told me) and its actually my tc-sst that's leaking. Oh boy.
