Every one check your oil level on your evo x asap!!!
Well it has come to my attencen that a lot more people are getting oil leaks then I thought. A lot of people are not noticing the oil leaks because of the plastic on the bottom of the car is holding all the oil. Take the plastic off and see if there is any oil build up. The oil leaks is either coming from oil feed line or coming from the timing cover.
If you do have this leak please take this to the dealer to see if we can get a TBS for this. Also keep an eye on this it took about 6000 mile before mine started to leak. Also keep a good check on your oil level as well. Its a slow leak maybe 4-5 drops a night.
here is a link where others have been getting this leak as well:

couldn't it be a drip from the intercooler from oil blow-by at heavy acceleration? isn't that normal for turbo cars. haven't checked mine yet.
edited: read other thread. my suggestion is not the case.

Read the other thread. Considering how **** I am about keeping my car clean. No. It's not from dripping excess oil while changing it. As a matter of fact, I cleaned all the mess up the first time around to just to see more residue yesterday. Dealership service dept verified this.

Guys,
I started the thread that joe is refferring to. This is a leak on the timing chain cover ( think) You can see it from under the car if you take the oil drain bolt cover off.
It coats both the back and t-chain side of the motor. I am not exagerrating.
I cleaned and verified the leak after only 5 minutes of driving. Going in soon for dealer look. My oil level is fine though

I brought my car into the dealer about 2 weeks ago for a dead battery. They decided to put the car in the air to check it out and also found a leak. I think it was power steering, ill have to check the invoice. They fixed it but its scary that the car only has 600 miles and a leak.
