Can I switch the High spoiler that comes with SSS package

I like everything that comes with the SSS package except that large obstructive spoiler. Can I have the dealer put the regular one on? will it fit the same holes? Anyone done it/ know for sure? I am 34 years old and want the features of the EVO SSS minus boyracer/fast and furious type spoiler

The small spoiler will fit, but you will have 2 extra holes in the trunk. 1 on each side

Nope, you cant. You have to look like a boyracer/fast and furious type. I mean, that's what all of us are right?

That spoiler is a rally Evo tradition, there is nothing boy racer fast and furious about it. I don't mind that and I hate those stupid movies. I am also past my mid 20's too and am no Boy racer.

You should have very little trouble finding someone to trade with. Though, with the FAST key I think you can't swap trunks, since you'll need the "keyhole". Maybe with a Lancer GTS?

I just traded my big wing trunk lid with the GTS small wing truck lid, I thought the big wing was to much also.

sorry, I dont mean to insult anyone by it, but it has the traditional stigma associated with it. Sometimes I look at it and like it, but it is a bit much for my subdued old man tastes. Also, I dont want to draw any attention from the police. Kind of the same way I wont buy a red car, do I think they look good? sure but are you more likely to get a ticket? sure.

Im still deciding on buying one. I just sold my 2007 Yamaha R1 and I need to fill that void! I am considering the WW and GG colors, Not sure yet. Dealer says invoice price and zero percent financing. If I purchase it needs leather, my wife has a 08 Civic Si Coupe Nav with Katzkin leather and it is SOooooo nice.... I am driving a 2003 Toyota tacoma 4x4 TRD ext cab pick up right now. I am debating on keeping the truck and getting dedicated race bike or the Evo. Unfortunately Both are expensive hobbies.

Anyone know if Katzkins makes leather for the evo? if not who is the best leather supplier?

not yet, on the fence about the Evo. Either Buy a dedicated racebike and race next year or get the evo and tune etc. I am trying to decide if the evo will fullfill my ever growing need for speed. Plus nothing like dragging your knee on the ground at 100+ mph. I have my cash from my R1 sale plus a good trade in so its just a matter if I will be fulfilled with my choice of vehicle.
Thinking about test driving the BMW135i to, But I live in Ohio and it is going to be a Daily driver.
