Congrats. you beat Cheston in the 350z which I know from when he owned a maxima. Did any of your also notice on pgs. 86-87 Blacktrack is mentioned too.

does anybody know whats goin on with their duals exhaust i havent heard anything and are they developing a downpipe

We are waiting for the initial preproduction pieces to come in. Once we give the OK, it will go into full production.

We have tested a prototype O2 housing / down pipe with good results. I believe it is currently being quoted for production. The factory DP is a good piece for the stock turbo and we feel there is no need to upgrade it. The power is found in the O2 housing.

Just got the magazine, congrats on the win AMS. They didn't put many pictures of your car though, any behind the scenes pictures from out there (other then whats in the mag)?

Thanks for the spoiler. You should have labeled the thread. I was really looking forward to seeing the results myself when I get my Sport Compact Car issue.

Congrats AMS, Just went out and bought the mag because of this thread.

I'm curious about how did u guys acomplish those MPG numbers.

thanks cause i really didnt want to mismatch my turboback exhaust when i got it

+111!!11 really 27.25mpg?!? and has 450+hp?

The route had a great deal of coasting and downhill sections so we were nice on the throttle

Yeah, and evidently also used some not so kosher techniques:

The only visible carnage of group was caused by a tire tread which flew out from under the semi that the AMS evo was drafting. After the impact, Martin's evasive maneuvers almost took out Cheston (350z), who was tucked in behind him. And you thought this was just a leisurely drive.
But fine by me!! You guys do whatever it takes to win and that's why we love you.
