What can I do to not void warranty

Does anyone know what mods I can do to my Evo without voiding the warranty? I just want simple bolt-ons like the fmic and hot pipe etc.

Nothing. Can't even change the brake pads.

If that's true then Mitsu sucks big time. I bought my s2000 new and with in a month I had 10 grand dropped in it and my clutch went out and honda covered it.

Yea evo is one of those cars that will always be blackflagged by the dealers, because to many people mod these cars. Even if you have a legit problem with no mods it will take forever to get work done.

Yeah... um... welcome to Mitsubishi. The only thing you can do to keep your warranty is sell your car immediately.

It depends on the product(s) and what they affect but we have a handful of Mitsubishi dealers around the country selling our full line of products.

Also, a lot of the folks at Mitsubishi corporate in LA have purchased our products for their own EVOs.

If it's engineered properly and fits & functions like OEM or better, there is less chance for any issues.

Wait, are you serious or just putting something out there that'll make the point that Mitsubishi is really strict?

I'm looking at changing my brake pads within the next week or two, and I'm bringing it to a local Chinese mechanic shop (which will be much cheaper than having it done at the dealer).

This will void my warranty?!

Is this a serious statement, or a joke?
...'cuz my 7-year-old would prolly just charge me one Oreo Snack Cake to do the brakes on my car. But as tempting as it would be to save a lot of money by using a kid to do my brakes, what I pay for the job is far out-weighed by the competence of the person doing the job

It was a joke on how strict Mitsu is, same with the sneeze thing above. If any of you new X guys look back at WAY old threads there's hundreds on Mitsu denying claims for all sorts of lame-*** reasons. Mine became semi-famous (engine failed within the first 3k miles due to oil starvation and they denied warranty).

I hope that it is a complete joke, and I hope you paying someone for their competence on doing brake pads on your car doesn't go over the price of an Oreo Snack Cake... I have changed Brembo pads probably a hundred times now, and would gladdly do it for use of the proper tools and an Oreo COOKIE.

Your 7-year-old could be taught to do it with little effort at all. And assuming they had the strength of a 14 year old, they could do it themselves with the same tools I do.

People say "Oh you should do your own oil changes" Well, that takes some skill and knowledge. The pads are like playing with legos.

You can change your stock camber and get wider wheels/tires.
