I'm looking into getting an Evo and doing research, and pricing and things. Red3kgt (Travis) I noticed you're a dealer in MD, which is where I live. Will you be able to get me one of these good prices people on here are talking about getting from SouthCoast, RC Hill and Dan Herring? It will still be awhile before I can get one because I'm saving up for a good down payment. Also does the 2012 MR only come with that auto trans? Are there any performance differences between the MR and GSR, or just different amentities? I know this thread isn't really about perfprmance but it kind of pertains to what I choose lol.

To answer your questions yes I can get you a great deal like the other dealers, I can also help you even if you dont buy from me like I have several other members before.
The biggest thing to look at is the overall cost out the door and take into considerations your state fee's and taxes as well as the dealer fee. RC hill has a 700 dollar dealer fee. So if theyh beat a price by 400 they are really charging you more than possible another dealer.
The MR only comes with the SST and there is no major difference performance between the GSR and the MR besides the Transmission.
Hope this helps ...

Yes that does help me, I probably won't be able to buy one until the beginning of next year, but I figured I would do my research now instead of waiting till the last minute. It seems like I should just go for the GSR if the only difference really is the transmission. I don't want an auto anyway (just wish there was a six speed manual). And I saw that you were helping other members even if they weren't buying from you, which is what made me ask you. I'd rather get it from you though since you're so willing to help us out and aren't too far away from me.

I just picked up a 2008 Rally Red GSR with 25,000 miles for 27.5k. The dealer pushed this Zurick extended warranty really hard and gave it to me for 2k for 100,000 miles/96 months. Anyone have any experience with them? Pics to come soon!

If you get a deal around $600 under invoice than subtract the $1500 rebate you are getting a good deal.
Mitsubishi has what they call Retro money that they pay to the dealers if you sell enough cars but the 2011's dont qualify.
I wouldn't buy an 2011 if I didn't have too, There is only going to be about 1200-1500 dollar difference. You normally have a bigger depreciation than that amount.
