Mitsubishi has confirmed time and again, and reputable dealers have confirmed as well. The Evolution X will continue production through 2013.

The current Mitsubishi Evo X is due to end production in 2013, with the hybrid-engined XI due some time after that.

When asked, company officials confirmed that the Evo X will be kept in production until 2013, but refused to give details regarding their future plans.

Dealers have also confirmed time and again that there will be a 2013 Evolution X. Most of this has been posted time and again in this very thread.

The Evolution X will be produced and sold through 2013.

IMO the 2013's will just be from their left over inventory. I think they will do the 2013 just like they did the Eclipse. It wont be a full production cycle. It was difficult to find a 2012 Eclipse in comparison to the rest of the production years. I think the 2013's will be more difficult to get ahold of then it is for the 08-12. The dealers might (?) charge more if they can. It is supply and demand afterall. If you got people trying to pick up a 2013 cause its the last year, and you have low production numbers, I'm sure they'll jack up the price. The Evo sales have been increasing as of late correct?

well the price will go up no matter what, thats how things work with inflation, etc.

khmerguyx, yes if you wait for a 2013 model to come out, the 2012 model will reduce in price.

Eventually if you are gonna get in an Evo X you will have o pull the trigger though, either budget yourself a bit tighter or pull one of these 2011's from South Coast when the 2013's start dropping and they will have some good deals I am guessing.

By the time 2013's are here.. all of the 2011's will be long gone From what I've heard, they're almost out of the 2011's already (very few left at Mitsubishi)

There are 75 NEW 2011's left in the country. The price will not drop anymore than about $1000 than what they are now. At that point you are only saving $2000 for a 2 year old vehicle.

IMO it's not worth it ,.....
