MR shifter on a GSr?

so im thinking about putting a MR shifter on my GSR why?so my car can shift automatically j/k really.. short arms, im 5'8 and for some reason i feel that the shifter is too short and also i think the MR shifter is better looking. is the thread the same on the shifter for both the GSR and MR?

kinda like the STi..

If your talking about the shift knob then, Yes is it is the same. Any Mitsubishi thread shift knob should work. I have an ARC knob on my MR. So it should go either way.

Can your foot reach the clutch?
That would be a problem.
