I just saw road race's answer for wing deletion. They have the lip kit with a cover over both sides of the trunk where the holes are. The price is starting to get in the range of what a body shop would charge to weld those holes and paint it.

It would be nice to find a base model lancer trunk with no wing. I've been searching for a few days with no luck.

^ I was considering doing the same. Does anyone know what a base Lancer trunk goes for? I thought I saw somewhere that South Coast was selling them at a decent price. Preferably without the trunk button too.

I like it!

Where did you grab the vinyl circles from? Home Depot type place or a vinyl decal shop?

Ditto. They would look much better if they were color matched to the car, the lip could remain black.

I went to Pep Boys and bought some plastic plugs. I'll post pics later. I like the vinyl circle though.

^ Hey Nate, can you post those pics of the plastic plugs you mentioned you got. It looks like I'll be going wingless shortly.

The vinyl with touch-up paint doesn't look half bad. I like how it gets the job done but lets you throw the wing back on if you want.
