How do u park/choose/pick ur parking?? Are u picky??

My wife / friends / family thinks I'm too much on picking a parking spot wherever we go.

I usually chose the corners so I only have to worry about one side. sometimes I even park far.

I guess you could say I've seen too much on the street (I'm street smart u know )

I've seen people's vehicle get keyed, tire's slashed, putting nails / broken bottles under your car even breaking your windows for parking too close to them / not park properly next to them and even for taking 2 parking spaces.

So, do you care on how and where you park??
Do you check for dings / flat tire /scratches when returning to your car??
Is someone PICKY like me here??

I don't think I'm paranoid...I guess you could say I grew up in the hood of LBC.

I usually just park far away from everyone, I really don't care about the walk since I'm not that lazy. But if i go anywhere where I don't think my car will be safe I can always borrow one of the other cars my parents have.

For everyday errands or just going shopping or whatnot, I try not to take the Evo. When I'm forced to, I always am VERY picky about where I park. People in Nor Cal tend to not pay attention to door opening space.

Which is why I carry a valve stem core removal tool with me...

Unfortunately, the door dings and such will occur in matter of time regardless of how careful you are. I used to be big on parking extra far away when I first bought my STi back in 2006. These days, I don't really make it the story of my life. I am aware of parking situations and try to park a few spaces away from others or on the corner but if I can't or I'm in a hurry I don't care and I'll park anywhere.

I agree with you. My brother lives in LA and I noticed that people do not pay attention when opening their doors, or even parking in between the lines for that matter.

I have a 2001 IS300 with zero dings. I always park against the curb as OP said so I only have to worry about one side.

I usually park away from everyone because of inconsiderate people who are careless when opening their doors. If parking far isn't an option, I try and find a corner and put as much space between me and the car next to me. I guess you can call me picky as well!

I park as far away from the masses as possible, a little walking isn't going to kill me.

Homer Simpson style, sideways taking up three handicap spots

My Corolla made 2 1/2 years before getting a single big door ding because I didn't care. So the Evo will probably get a sh1tload even though I'm careful....
