Given the trend, I think a safe estimate is around 250 a month, so 2750 or so this year.

Ya I've heard stories like that. When we bought one of the first G35Coupes, we were told 10k in 03.

15k+ cars that year later we stopped looking at the numbers.

I go into dealerships expecting to be lied to on at least one subject.

Haven't been disappointed yet!

i wonder how much it costs, to r&d the evo, then produce it and then how much they have to sell to make a profit.

i was reading somewhere a while back that it costs between 10/12k for the gt version of the eclipse. that could have been wrong though.

.... well Us being not a primary market for the EVo, it is hard to believe they send 4-5 k to here and 4k for rest of the world..
you got a well informed friend in the MMC.

To produce that version of the car? That sounds waaay off. That's, what, 1 decent engineer for a month and a half? You'd need more engineers, managers, supplies... I'd bet that's off by at least an order of magnitude.

That is probably pretty close for the Eclipse.

well is this car limited or not i was read magazines saying that there is only a couple of thousands thats going to be available. when the design change and who mitsu is marketing to i dont see this car be limited edition. when the economy gets better by that time the evo will be like the mustang. the lancer is already all over the place
