My fiance just picked up a 08 Evo MR and loves it! But to her surprise the navigation does not support Sirius Sat. Radio. We noticed that the GSR model that we tested did have navigation with Sirius, so we were curious if there is a way to upgrade her navigation to support Sat radio?

 

The stock nav absolutely does support Sirius. In fact she should have 6 months free Sirius right off the lot.

Press the "mode" button and you should see sirius as an option in the top right corner.

 

maybe your dealer just sold you the navigation and not the tech package? not sure if that is possible, but if your car has the tech package then it has sirius already installed

It should definitely have NAV.

 

It does have the Nav but does NOT have the Sirius. So is there no way to upgrade the stock Nav to have Sirius?

 

You would need to buy the sirius module from the dealer i suppose?

Basically, to answer your question. YES, the stock nav can be upgraded to include sirius.
