Nope, no ringing noise in neutral if I rev it up. Only while in gear while driving, or in gear with the clutch in while stopped.

 

Same here, I tried to rev up in neutral. tried 10 mins and it all sounds normal.

But when I am in gear, noise comes up. It sucks coz I can hear it EVERYTIME when I am on 4th, 5th @ 3200rpm to 3600rpm.

Car has nearly 3k miles,

Never launched, never raced and not even abused. Had this sound since I got my car with 3miles from dealership.

going to check it out at dealership on Tuesday or Monday. hopefully I can get some answer.

BTW my MR does not have this noise at all. so I am guessing its GSR (stick shift) only problem.

see i just started having this issue over the weekend and when my car is parked in neutral and i rev the engine past 3400 (my noise rev point) i can hear it faintly, i recently put a new clutch in and broke it in then hit the canyons and thats when i noticed it. I can hear it faintly with the windows open but its more noticeable with the windows closed. The car isnt running poorly or hot. I cant figure it out and it is for sure NOT the speakers, thats the feedback from the alternator (different issue)
