For the X the only thing that needs to be done is the injectors and fuel pume, the tank and the lines are completely fine.

id like to see how a evo X would do on E85 since IXs make a great amount of power from it

Machines Gone Wild tuned an Evo 9 the other day on E85, wasn't there, but my buddy said it was pretty sick.

Some guys on SCE (Socalevo.net) Love E85 ... It's "cheap race gas"
OK, so who's going to be the first to step up and do the conversion and post some numbers up here? I hear *maybe* somebody is running it, but have seen no proof of an X on E85.

I am personally going to be running it on my X.

I've got an upgraded fuel pump, and 1000cc injectors, just waiting on the turbo.

We are hoping for over 500whp on an FP red.
Funny, 500AWHP on E85/Red is my goal too. the only thing holding me back is I'm still waiting on the Red and have some slight weather related concerns at the moment (I've heard Ethanol isn't a fan of subzero temps)

discussion on that topic here:

mainly cause it's way to much for the power goals we have in mind for the car.

the kit is sick, I still have it, it's for sale.. it's the AFI GT3076 Twinscroll kit.

I think all in all E85 has been a big let down. There are 2 stations local to me ( if you want to call 30 miles away local ) and there have been no additions since the last time I looked ( over a year ago ) E85 may add a lot of power, but it's surely not saving the world like people thought.

what do you mean, it produces to much power or will cost to much to produce the power you need with the twin scroll?

^ I had the twin scroll w/ all the bolt on's and supporting mods.

For us though, the twin scroll is to much turbo for the power goals we are looking for
(around 500whp on race fuel/E85).

Plus we want to maximize engine efficiency and keep the under the hood temps as low as possible, since this will be for a road racing application, and not a drag racing, show car, or daily driver.
