Foglight Housing Woes
So I hit a piece of tire that came spewing out from under a SUV on my way this morning to Mountain High Ski Resort on the 15North at 6:30 AM. I thought I did some quick maneuvering to dodge the tire piece... but unfortunately I fell victim the the assaulting piece of rubber.
The damage... devastating.
My foglight housing is holding on by like 2 screws (I think). Good thing is that I was going to take off my bumper anyways today to install an ETS Intercooler and RRE Stealth intercooler Piping.
Anyone know what potential clips/screws/thingys I broke that I may need to order from

Here are the parts that make up that part. Seems like there is only 1 type of clip then, a speed nut and a screw. I couldnt tell you how many of each, but Im sure you can figure that out by looking at it.
Clip - MN173431
Speed Nut - MU432003
Screw - MS450156

I ate a piece of truck tire coming out from the back of a SUV as well a few months ago. It hit the front mesh grill and I just went to a hardware store and got some washers and screws to do a quick fix. I upgraded my IC pipes at the same time too
. The piece of tire was literally bouncing towards me and it was either speed up so it hits the grill or slow down where it will hit my hood/front windshield since there was traffic all around on the highway

I took apart my bumper and looked at it... the entire fog light setup got detached from the bumper (broken literally). So I used my brain and melted the plastics back together to literally fix the foglight. Then I just buffed out the tire damage and its as good as new =).
While doing it though, I also upgraded my Intercooler and Piping.

Thanks but no thanks... it actually wouldn't help if I bought it because the attachment points to the bumper itself was ripped out. However, luckily I was able to fix it. I'll post pictures later today.
ouch, i actually hit a tire too, straight on in the middle cause i couldnt dodge it due to cars on my side. good thing my car is black, but u can see the scratches it made on the plastic now.
